我省修订生态环境违法行为举报奖励办法
Anhui Province announced that the Anhui Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment and the Anhui Provincial Department of Finance jointly issued a revised 《安徽省生态环境违法行为举报奖励办法》 that will take effect on 20 October 2026 source. The revised measures expand the scope of reportable violations to ten categories—including tampering with automatic monitoring data, illegal hazardous-waste disposal, and construction projects without approved environmental impact assessments—and set specific monetary rewards tied to administrative penalties, judicial detention, and criminal filings source. The update also introduces a public bounty system under which authorities may offer rewards of up to RMB 50,000 for hard-to-obtain evidence in pollution cases source.
Because the measures apply to ecological and environmental violations throughout Anhui Province that are subject to enforcement by the ecology and environment department, virtually all enterprises, legal persons, and other organizations operating in the province face increased exposure to whistleblower complaints source. The new incentives are also relevant to internal compliance officers, facility employees, and third-party environmental technical service providers, given enhanced rewards for internal informants and specific targeting of monitoring-data fraud source.
